Discover how to grow delicious food in containers and large pots. Ideal for small spaces or if you don’t wish to garden at ground level.

All material included: large plastic pot, potting mix and an assortment of vegetable seedlings that you will take home. Learn how to:

• select the best containers
• identify suitable potting mix for food growing
• identify the vegetable varieties that grow well in small spaces
• how to control pest and disease
• water and fertilise
• develop a care plan for Townsville’s growing season
